I treat under-served older adults with psychological principles and practices, which are grounded in the latest science of brain and body health.
I specialize in psychological assessment and treatment of older adults, and tend to focus on the intersection of medical and mental health concerns. My work across a number of clinical and research settings in clinical psychology has honed my desire to provide holistic, person-focused treatment. I also love research, organizational consultation, and teaching.
I enjoy working with diverse persons and presenting concerns. My specialties include: chronic pain, dementia, disabilities, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment, life transitions, HIV/AIDS, caregiver and other relationship concerns, existential issues, trauma, and death and dying.
I employ a flexible, collaborative approach in my practice. Depending on the situation, I work with clients’ medical providers, family members, case managers, and others in order to provide continuity of care and support.
